Seasonal Camps & Experiential Programs
Seasonal Camps & Experiential Programs are full-day offerings held during spring break and summer months. These immersive programs differ from our after-school groups by providing extended, unhurried time for creative exploration, outdoor experiences, and relational connection in small, thoughtfully facilitated groups.
Eco Art Therapy Day Camp: A Nature and Creativity Experience
Ages 6-10 | Spring Break | Summer Break | 9 am - 3 pm
Eco Art Therapy Day Camp is a five-day, small-group experience designed to support regulation, connection, and creativity through nature-based art-making and gentle movement.
Each day, children will explore natural spaces in downtown Squamish (weather permitting), gather inspiration from Pacific Northwest flora and fauna, and create temporary art in outdoor settings before returning to the studio to continue building their ideas. The week includes daily creative studio time, nature-based exploration, photography of outdoor artwork, and a gentle, child-centered yoga session focused on body awareness and calm.
This immersive camp offers more spacious time than traditional after-school programs, allowing children to settle, create, and connect at a comfortable pace. The therapeutic focus is experiential rather than problem-based — children are supported in feeling safe, engaged, and creatively expressive within a small, thoughtfully facilitated group.
Group size is limited to 4–6 children to ensure a supportive and sensory-aware environment.
An optional end-of-week gallery will provide families the opportunity to view and celebrate the children’s work.
